It causes Teena great stress to watch items being thrown away that could be recycled, reused or repurposed. She loves to rescue things and give them a new life. She believes she came by this trait honestly as her father and mother always had their stockpile of ‘useful things’ in the yard, garage and closets. There were many hours spent with her grandmother cutting buttons and seams from cotton clothing to be sold as grease rags to garages and hunting with her grandfather for metal to be sold for recycling. So, set her loose at the garage sales, flea markets and auctions and she is one happy camper!
She never knows what she will be working on next! Jewelry, children’s soft toys, up-cycled furniture and other household item ideas flow through her brain daily.
She hopes you enjoy her creations as much as she enjoys creating them!
